Sara is an award-winning lawyer with over 14 years of experience in complex contracts and dispute resolution. She started her career at leading global firm King & Wood Mallesons where she practised for 6 years before joining Sparke Helmore Lawyers. She founded Inkling in 2018 with a vision to make complex legal advice simple and easy to understand. Since then, Sara has become a global leader in consumable legal services and access to justice. In 2020, Sara was profiled by the Financial Times as one of APAC’s 7 most innovative lawyers. She has been a speaker at leading legal conferences including the Australian Bar Association, the Attorney General’s Department and the International Chamber of Commerce. Sara has acted for governments, ASX50 companies and small businesses in a range of high-profile and sensitive cases.

Sara:

• is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (London) (MCIArb).

• is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Newcastle.
